Health Workforce Needs Assessment
The Hawai‘i/Pacific Basin Area Health Education Center (AHEC) finds its mission in improving the health of the underserved through education. A key contributor to improving health in our communities is a health workforce of appropriate numbers, distribution, and competencies. In order to help ensure such a workforce, we are collaborating with the Hawai'i Health Workforce Hui to conduct a brief survey to better understand supply, demand, and other workforce dynamics. We will use this information to help you recruit professionals, increase training opportunities to meet your needs, as well as alert statewide and federal organizations to your health workforce situation, as appropriate.
