Partners in Health Careers Outreach to Students

- HCOP provides an educational pathway to health careers at the University of Hawaii at Manoa (UHM), Kapiolani Community College, and Leeward Community College. High school students are exposed to various health career fields and introduced to academic requirements and campus life through a summer residential program. College students receive assistance as they pursue and complete their health degree program.

- PAC is a walk-in resource center for students interested in law, medicine (allopathic, chiropractic, naturopathic, osteopathic, podiatric), or the health sciences (dentistry, optometry, pharmacy, physician assistant, occupational therapy, physical therapy, veterinary medicine, etc.). PAC is staffed by peer advisors trained to help you clarify your career goals, choose a major, plan appropriate coursework, research professional programs, find opportunities to gain experience, and apply to schools

- Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, the program aims to significantly increase the number of low-income students pursuing and succeeding in higher education, including the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa - the flagship campus within the 10-campus UH system.
